Study: Multiple omics reveals coral reefs are living stones
show Abstracthide Abstract
Coral reefs are the cornerstone of global marine ecosystems, providing a shelter for over one third of marine organisms. In this bioproject, we have sequenced the genomes, full-longth transcriptomes, small RNA, single cell gene expression profile, proteomics by PacBio, HiSeq X Ten, 10X Genomics, HiC, BD Rhapsody, mass spectrum technologies of some important reef-building corals, including Stylophora pistillata, Acropora muricata, Montipora capricomis, Montipora foliosa, Pocillopora damicornis. We hope that this work can help scientific community to deepen the understanding of reef-building corals and has potential value in studies of coral ecology that can be used to protect coral reefs.
